Email scanlystudio.support@proton.me and a person will answer. Please say which phone you are on and what you were doing when it went wrong. It usually saves a round trip.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so they are cancelled on your phone rather than in the app. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Metronome → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Metronome → Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.
Tap Restore on the plan screen. That asks the App Store or Google Play for purchases made with the Apple Account or Google Account currently signed in on the device, so if you bought it on a different account, sign into that one first. If Restore still finds nothing, email us with the receipt Apple or Google sent you and we will sort it out.
Refunds are handled entirely by the store you bought from. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account you bought with. On Android, request one through Google Play (Google Play refund help) with the Google Account you bought with. We cannot issue a refund on Apple's or Google's behalf, but tell us what went wrong anyway: it is how the app gets better.
Turn on Play when locked in the app’s Settings tab. The metronome then keeps playing in the background and on the lock screen until you pause it.
Raise the volume slider next to the sound name on the Metronome tab, and check the phone’s silent mode (the ring/silent switch on iPhone) and its own volume. Sharper sounds such as Click, Sticks or Clave cut through an instrument better than soft ones such as Marimba.
Turn the dial, tap − and +, or tap TAP in time with the music and the app takes over your tempo. With VoiceOver, swipe up or down on the tempo to change it by 1 BPM.
Your settings and game scores live only on this phone. There is no account or cloud copy on our side, so they can only travel with your phone’s own backup and restore (on iPhone, iCloud or computer), not through the app.
Your settings and scores are stored on your phone and nowhere else, so deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
